Space Exploration Technologies Corp. Announces Closing of Initial Public Offering, Including Full Exercise of Underwriters' Option to Purchase Additional Shares

STARBASE, Texas — Space Exploration Technologies Corp. ("SpaceX") (Nasdaq: SPCX) today announced the closing of its initial public offering of an aggregate 638,888,888 shares of its Class A common stock, including the full exercise by the underwriters of their overallotment option to purchase an additional 83,333,333 shares of Class A common stock from SpaceX.

The issuance of all shares closed on June 15, 2026, bringing the gross proceeds from the initial public offering to SpaceX to approximately $85.7 billion. The shares of Class A common stock began trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market and Nasdaq Texas on June 12, 2026, under the ticker symbol "SPCX."

The offering was priced at $135.00 per share. At the close of first-day trading, SpaceX achieved a market valuation exceeding $2.1 trillion — the largest IPO in history. Founder and CEO Elon Musk became the world's first trillionaire based on his equity stake across SpaceX, Tesla, xAI, and other holdings.
